Calm, considered practitioners who understand behaviour at its root and work with your dog's emotional state, not against it. The ones we'd send a friend to when something's stuck.

Nigel Reed

Behaviour understood at its root. Not managed — resolved.

Why he’s Vetted

Nigel doesn’t start with commands. He starts with the dog — what they need, how they’re communicating, what emotional state they’re in, and whether they feel clear and guided by their owner. Twenty-five years of doing this, with over 3,000 clients and a reputation built on the difficult cases others had written off.

His approach is holistic and unhurried. An initial consultation runs three to four hours — in your home, because he believes behaviour can’t be properly understood in isolation. The dog’s routines, relationships, triggers, and emotional patterns all matter. He doesn’t split the dog into separate symptoms.

After the session, owners receive his book, a method guide, and lifetime phone and email support. The real work often begins at home, once you’re applying the approach day to day.

Best for: reactive dogs, aggression, separation anxiety, nervous or fearful dogs, rescue dogs, and owners who want to understand the cause rather than simply manage the behaviour.
